Horse Shoe Bend and Devils Canyon
Nick and I decided to go for a motorcycle ride picnic yesterday. It was alot of fun! There’s going to be a lot of pictures in this one, sorry! We rode out to Big Horn Lake about 15 miles from Cowley and had a picnic. Some of the mountains were a bright red color and in the middle of them, we found a little boat docking area and decided to have our lunch there. It was really pretty with the contrasting green grass and trees and the red hills behind it. We saw a few boats on the water and in the summer I think this is a really popular place!

Then after our picnic we drove up to a overlook of Horse Shoe Bend. Here are a few pictures of the drive over there. I have no idea what makes these hills so red! I took these while riding on the back of the motorcycle but I think they turned out pretty good!

I had never heard of this place but when we got there I was shocked! A huge canyon with a river at the bottom, it was incredible. The pictures don’t really do it justice but here are a few.

Nick climbed down a little way to try and get a better picture, he’s crazy!

We also saw some wild horses in Wild Horse Range which is an area that we had to drive through to get to the ouver look. I’ve never seen actual wild horses before! It was really cool.

Here are some other cool photos that we took on our adventure! Enjoy!!!

Overall, it was a great day and a fun adventure. Wyoming has a lot of great things to offer and so far we are really enjoying it here.
