Fun filled family weekend(s)!

Well, we’ve had a full house! Last weekend we had Nick’s wonderful family and this weekend my family came over to see us. It was really great! I’m so glad that both of our families got to see this cute little town that we’re living in. We went on lots of walks, ate good food, watched good movies, it was a blast. 

There is some excellent history here in this town. There are some original buildings in town that were built by the first settlers here. The one in the picture was the first school called the big horn academy. It has recently been renovated and is now the school district office. It is a beautiful building! 

There is also a community garden which we have taken advantage of! In the spring, people in the community volunteer for a row and plant what is assigned for that row. Then in the fall, everyone who helps a little can harvest! Pull a few weeds, take a few vegetables, it’s great! Most people here grow their own gardens so we’ve been “forced” to pick and eat lots of wonderful food from the garden. It’s been really fun actually. So far this town has been great and we are really liking it here!
